POSITION SUMMARY

The Residential Facility Cleaner (Community Maintenance Associate) is responsible for the appearance of the community by maintaining the community experience office, apartment buildings, community rooms and common areas of the property.

REPORTS TO: Community Maintenance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain daily upkeep of the Community Experience Office, Lobby, Apartment Buildings, Community Rooms and Mail/Package rooms.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial products, supplies, and paper products.
• Assist with readying apartments for leasing as instructed by Community Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain professional appearance and complete duties in a courteous manner.
• Organize resident packages in an orderly manner.
• Perform clean-up of Community areas after special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Community Experience Manager or Community Maintenance Manager.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Proven cleaning supervisory experience and inventory management in a multi-family environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning chemicals, processes and Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
• Customer service orientation and effective oral and written communication skills, along with a positive and professional attitude.
